My Review

In the vein of  'Guess How Much I love You', Barbara Joosse's picture books are a joy. My favourite is 'Mama, Do You Love Me?, but this is a close second! Beautiful watercolor illustrations and touches of Massai culture throughout the dialogue as Papa compares his love for his child to the familiar cultural things of life around them make this such a lovely read, perfect for a father to read with their child, and also lovely as an introduction to this rural Kenyan culture, so different from our own.

Heads Up!

Publisher Review

This follow-up to the best-selling Mama, Do You Love Me? (over one million copies sold in 15 languages!) captures the universal love between a father and child. Set in Africa and featuring the Maasai culture, the beautiful watercolor illustrations, lyrical text, and enduring message are sure to make this another instant classic.
