My Review

This is, of course, a perfect book for Easter - but for anytime of year, too - it's a brilliant retelling of the story arc that begins with the Garden of Eden and the separation of Adam and Eve from God, and ends with God and man reunited, close again because of what Jesus does on the cross. The illustrations are so powerful - full of emotion but really well done for children to help them understand the sadness of separation from God, and the joy of being with him. It's really excellent - every family and kids work team should have a copy!

Heads Up!

This is my favourite of this series of books - all are worth a look if you are ever needing a version of a particular story for sharing with children!

Publisher Review

Journey from the Garden of Eden to God’s perfect new creation to understand why Jesus' death and resurrection are good news for us. This beautiful hardback Bible storybook for 3-6 year olds takes children on a journey from the Garden of Eden to God’s perfect new creation. It is a gospel presentation that focuses on the significance of the temple curtain. God said “because of your sin you can’t come in”, but the moment the curtain tore in two, everything changed. Children will learn why Jesus died and rose again and why that’s the best news ever. This bestselling book is written by Carl Laferton, who is also the author of God's Big Promises Bible Storybook, and serves as series editor of the God's Word for You series.
