My Review

Sally Lloyd Jones has such a way with stories - her ability to draw in and point to New Testament from Old and Old Testament from New is such a gift. In every story she points to Jesus and helps children - and the adults reading to them - understand how God's love for us is woven through all the happenings and characters we meet in the bible. Jago's illustrations are a perfect partner for her writing, and tell the stories just as well as her words do. Their partnership makes this a children's bible that stand apart. Super accessible, stunning illustrations, and great theology - the perfect bible for 5-8 year olds.

Heads Up!

If you don't want the gift edition, buy the standard one - it's only slightly smaller and the only other difference is the cover!
